Why Christians Are Struggling Today:

A Lack of Knowledge and Understanding

In today’s world, many Christians face struggles not because of external challenges, but because of a deeper issue: a lack of knowledge and understanding. Hosea 4:6 reminds us, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Many believers misunderstand the essence of Christianity, seeing it as merely a belief system, a label, or a set of rules. But Christianity is far more than that—it's an identity.

Christianity: More Than a Name or Religion

Christianity is not just about belonging to a group or following a moral code. It's deeply personal. It’s a lifestyle rooted in knowing who you are in Christ and inviting God into every aspect of your life. It’s about doing life with God.

When you live with the awareness of your identity in Christ, everything changes. In Him, you have everything you need. As Philippians 4:19 says, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

Why We Struggle

The root of our struggles often lies in removing God from our lives. God has given us light, yet many of us choose to walk in darkness. This darkness—marked by uncertainty, fear, and confusion—leaves room for the enemy to sow lies and doubt.

But the love of Jesus casts out fear (1 John 4:18). The more we draw closer to Him, the more peace we will experience. It doesn’t matter what uncertainties we face, because we can rest in knowing that Jesus knows it all and has the power to handle anything.

Trusting Jesus: The Ultimate Partner

Imagine having a business partner who knows everything, has unlimited resources, and can solve any problem. Or picture a life partner who is always present, always supportive, and has every resource imaginable. That’s who Jesus is.

He’s the best friend who never misses your call, the one who checks on you constantly. He has all authority, all wisdom, and all the wealth of heaven at His disposal. And most importantly, He loves you unconditionally.

Living in the Light

When we let Jesus lead and govern our lives, darkness and uncertainty lose their grip. He becomes our light, our certainty, and our source of peace. Life’s challenges may not disappear, but with Jesus, we face them with confidence, knowing He is in control.

In Him, we truly have everything. Let’s invite Him into every area of our lives and experience the fullness of His love, peace, and provision.
